MENDING THE HEART
Ms. Faith Hepsibah
"In as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren you did it to me." -Matt. 25:40
Ms.
Faith Hepsibah knows first-hand God’s power
to heal and restore. At eleven years of age her right
hand was stricken by Polio. But tears and prayers
brought down the heavenly touch and Faith’s
hand was made whole.
Following
her Master of Divinity studies at South Asia Bible
College, Faith was suddenly widowed after only one
and a half years of marriage. God restored Faith and
taught her how to exercise God kind of love.
In 2003,
Faith pioneered a Home of Hope in Chennai to bring
God’s restoration and healing love to daughters
of prostitutes. The first home of its kind in this
city, this home provides pre-teen and teenage girls
a place where they are nurtured in a loving Christian
environment, obtain medical care, schooling, emotional
healing and restoration. The ministry also established
Street outreach and weekly care cell where women and
up to fifty children are ministered to through teaching
and worship. To date over 50 young ladies received
transforming guidance, love, education and training
for a new future. The home continues in operation
today, led by staff and volunteers.
Ms. Faith
Hepsibah is now working primarily with March of Faith
ministries, training those with a call to compassion
and prayer ministry.
