In Ethiopia, Rev. J. Simon Stanley and Mrs. Grace Stanley led students praying in the Spirit with unutterable groaning and tears, turning the tide of sin that had enveloped that nation.

In the 1970s the Stanleys returned to their native Chennai, India. Rev. Simon later became known as the “weeping prophet of India,” having birthed and led a powerful prayer movement. Even today, Rev. Simon Stanley continues as president of the All Night All India Prayer. In 2003, both father and son Gideon joined in ministry in Washington DC at the Pray for America Conference.

The Stanley family’s steadfast intercession during the last four decades has birthed ministries, prayer movements and countless salvations.
